The tea industry is not very easy to navigate and can be very opaque if you are new. The UK tea industry still suffers a hangover from the colonial times of the past with a reluctance to modernise from the big global tea companies. This can make dealing in tea more difficult than it needs to be with access to knowledge, supply chains and manufacturing difficult to achieve to those starting out or those not directly involved in the tea industry.
